From the ancient temples nestled in the jungle to the sacred water springs flowing with purifying blessings, Bali is a place of deep spiritual connection. The Balinese people honor the unseen realms through daily offerings, prayers, and ceremonies, creating a frequency of reverence that permeates the land.

As the Earth shifts into balance on the Spring Equinox, we will gather in ceremony and sisterhood to shed the old and step fully into our essence. Through gentle yoga, meditation, breathwork, ritual, and embodiment practices, we will activate the divine wisdom within and expand into a space of limitless potential.
Nestled in the sacred lands of Bali, our sanctuary, Basundari, offers an oasis of jungle beauty, healing waters, and tranquil spaces—the perfect setting for deep renewal and personal expansion.
We have the honour of being there during Nyepi. Nyepi is a public holiday and their day of silence. This is a day when everything comes to a pause including planes, transportation, there are no lights or music. It’s a time for community, prayer and devotion. The following day is considered the “New Year” and is connected with the new moon of Equinox.

Our Sanctuary
To hold us through our time together
Step into a world where relaxation and rejuvenation are the first priorities. The resort we chose features relaxing accommodations, each thoughtfully designed to blend with nature while providing modern comfort. Basundari provides the best environment for practicing yoga and meditating. There is a Yoga Shala and several meditation spots. Basundari also features two common pools, a café, and an upper and shared space. The light shines through the bamboo and coconut trees as the sun rises.
This unique location in the middle of the jungle and rice fields was discovered by a shaman who felt the great spiritual power that this place has to offer. This led to the birth of Basundari which means “The Grace of Mother Earth”. As such nature has been carefully considered since the beginning of Basundari starting at the construction.

The Shala and Relaxation Spaces
Our divine spaces for transformation
The Yoga Shala is a big open and wooded place situated among gigantic bamboo trees near the river. When it rains, a soothing waterfall cascades down the back of the Shala. Also the Yoga Shala has blankets, blocks, bolsters, yoga mats, cushions, straps and everything you need to be comfortable and keep extra room in your luggage for souvenirs.
In addition to the shala, there are numerous meditation and relaxation spots at one of the many hanging baskets or at the upper space deck mounted in the tree tops with beanbags.

Meet Kailee
Kailee Smith is a spiritual guide, sacred site facilitator, and the founder of Rooted Retreats. She is dedicated to leading women on transformational journeys to the world’s most powerful energetic portals. With a deep reverence for the ancient wisdom embedded in these lands, she weaves together Kundalini yoga, ritual, energetic activation, and ceremony to create experiences of profound remembrance and awakening.
Kailee’s work is rooted in the belief that sacred sites hold encoded wisdom—waiting to be unlocked by those who answer the call. She helps women reconnect with these frequencies, activate their own inner temples, and step into alignment with their divine path.
Having led retreats all over the world, Kailee holds space for those seeking a deeper communion with the mystical, the unseen, and the ancient pulse of the Earth.
Meet Jennilee
Jennilee is a Medicine Woman. A curious, compassionate, intuitive being who is walking the path of healing and self-discovery. She is here to support others who are committed to this path, to hold space and mirror what is ready to be seen, heard, felt, and alchemized. Being able to explore the jungles within as well as the skies has created a foundation that allows her to witness others in many forms. Her personal work is a co-created collaboration of experiences, teachings and trainings from friends, family, and teachers from all around the world. She now carries meditation, breathwork, yoga, somatics, and plant medicine teachings in my medicine bundle. Her offerings are an extension of her own work and an honoring of all those who have walked alongside me.

In order for you to have the best experience possible, an average level of fitness is required. We will be walking, practicing yoga and have light physical activity.

A $1000 CAD deposit is required to secure your spot in this intimate retreat. Deposits can be e-transferred to omeverafter@gmail.com or paid by credit card with 4% charge.
Balance PaymentS
Payment 2 - $750 CAD due September 1, 2025
Payment 3 - $750 CAD due November 1, 2025
Remaining payment is required by January 1, 2026.
You can email for a payment plan that is flexible for you.
Cancellation Policy
Deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations before 90 days will be refunded minus the deposit.
Cancellations 30-60 days will be refunded 50% minus the deposit.
Cancellations within 30 days of our travel date will not receive a refund but you can sell your spot to someone else.
